hare and bird

work is slowing down, or should I say results are not forthcoming. Hazemannetje has been stitched onto frame-fabric

I want more of the top piece to become part of the frame, like the leaf here

the old bird-king will have a home in this drawer; I sawed off a bit to make it square and there will be a shelf part on top for dainty (port) glasses or maybe delicate tea cups (I don't know why it has to be so, I have always liked small cupboards) The gobelin-like fabric depicts knightly scenes, appropriate for the old King, the dark blue is curtain and sky with a moon of sorts, the rich, white fabric will be draped on his bed, a fourposter I still have to make.
