print, dye, stitch

so here I am exploring the possibilities of the grid: dyeing, printing, stitching, tearing, cutting, colours or black&white...

the square blocking with squares of stamped colour

juxtapostion

 perhaps things get too busy, just tear off bits and add others:

...and thus the hare finds himself in a moonlit landscape....

have not forgotton I'm also stitching

unstitching and cutting away, pinpoints remain
above='front'  below='back'
here too more beads are required at the meeting points

'sommerhus' revisited: blue beads on meeting points, bringing it within the grid

up close the tile-back-print resembles a beast

that's all for now folks, more on black and white tomorrow

you are really going now , yes? does your printing stiffen the cloth?
Saskia said…
Jude: very much so and yes the printing does stiffen the cloth, depending on how thick the paint is....hmmm, I've just thought that if it bothered me I could crumple it and see if that helps?!
