'(self)reflection(s)' done! that makes 15 pieces for the exhibit; I decided to add a backing to give it more body and tiny bits of colour with the red thread, symbolic in a way for mourning, I'm not fully comfortable using red; most of the stitching is done with a single strand of embroidery thread, it seemed more sensitive, less 'heavy'

how much are you charging for this piece Saskia? it is so, so beautiful. Feel free to respond by email if that suits better.

been away (from here, not home) and coming back feel the sense of missing, of return, of how much seeing work of artists like you feeds the soul!

oh dear! I just read backwards and saw why you call this piece 'mourning' and I wonder if that is part of why I responded in the way I did towards it-- having lost Jack so recently.

I am so, so sorry! You must be heart broken....

hi there Dee, oh wow you want to buy?! that is good; we both miss our dogs, our mates and I sense some of that has gone into the final stitching of this piece; it was the first piece I finished on my own in the studio since Tungsten died; here are the numbers: it measures 24x32 cm/9,5x12,5 in and the price is 75 euros or 100 US$; I'll email you as well
