results!

and this is what it looks like now: it has a Pirates of the Caribbean feel to it: I like the billowing on the back, thanks to the 'sandwich-band'

the sleeves have been lengthened with the cut-offs from the front and the front edges have been reinforced with the cuff cut-offs, which have been dyed seperately and I've added a bit of lace

I like the accidental pattern here

Hi Deanna, thank you! and yes shorter is better and more practical and suits me better; I have seen your latest dye results and very much liked what I saw, wanted to comment, provider issues, blablah, so I 'll try visiting again.....

So great to see how the jacket looks on you. As I mentioned on CB2, it is very stylish and looks so good on you.

Hi Mo'a thanks for visiting and your nice comment, I am rather pleased the way it has turned out and now 'fits' me; I have gone over to your blog as well and roamed around a little....

Really love the way this jacket is evolving - it has so much personality. Enjoyed reading your blog (seeing more pics than on CB2) and following how this piece has been dyed and changed to "fit" you - great work! Like the photo of your yellow lab too...I have a chocolate lab/chessie mix and enjoy every day with her.

hello Ayn and Heather, thank you two too!
It has been great fun experimenting with this jacket, especially the 'wicking dye technique' Grace invented this term; it is almost done, I hope in time for a party this saturday....see what folks 'out there'think of it.
