train, empty space

 today I visited my parents in Maastricht to deliver this painting, it's going to be used on the invitation for the exhibit in October; we travelled by train. It was fun seeing my parents again, they've been in Denmark these past two months and we caught up on familygossip and I got to see their work, we'll be exhibiting together,  my dad with ceramics and my mother with knitted doll's dresses. I realise it'is rather special for the three of us to be exhibiting together

there is an empty space on the wall in the studio where the painting once belonged
