Some days you just want to howl at the unfairness of it all

Other times you are able to lean into it, then tentatively embrace it,  letting the suffering enter your awareness,

suffusing the mind as the body sways.

You realise ‘unfairness’ is a word human beings have created.

That is has no meaning,

nor does it hold any power over you.

You are free to explore the space between the words

–  beyond self-imposed boundaries, beyond control  –

what if I tried to paint using left-over calendula steeped in virgin olive oil, from a lip-balm workshop I attended Sunday morning? together with my 'dirty water' it has an earthy feel
