new arrivals

A charming little bird flew in from Belgium, courtesy of Maria! a huge thank you from all the Dwellers
He first introduced himself to OBK, who happened to be in the studio sipping an espresso. Turns out they both enjoy cigars and strong black coffee. I think they are going to get along just fine.
Seeing he was here he was immediately invited to celebrate Christmas' Eve with them all. Apparently there was a beautiful table, delicious food and lots of booze, I wouldn't know as they forgot to invite me ........ This afternoon I walked into the studio only to find them all enjoying a very late first ChristmasDay brunch, ah well saves me from having had to help prepare and I'm certainly not going to be doing any dish washing! DutchBoy and the Alligator are taking care of all that and they are responsible for the coffee making as well.

Rat is very happy to help in his special way emptying the leftovers

Christmas brunch in the dining room

OneEyed Barbie has retreated back into the studio to continue the knitting, with so many arrivals and the bitter freeze (we love it) more scarves and blankets are in order. Cat and one of the dogs are there to keep her company, as are two small birds try painting a bird. All very relaxing.

Monkey's fled to OBK's bedroom, in an attempt to avoid the noise of laughter and chatter, I think he suffers from a hangover which he's trying to cure with a soda, ah well.....

A late arrival: Saumon Rose welcomed in by the Christmas Spirit, it seems invitations got mixed up, or lost, or perhaps it was unclear who was responsible for sending them, so it appears I'm not the only one who missed the party. The Nutcrackers are agreed upon one thing: 'we are all mad here!'

'hey you two, shouldn't you be busy cleaning?'

Mr. Jeremy Fisher is in the library, he has taken it upon himself to sort out the books, although there aren't that many right now. However he has informed me soon there will be many more. He has his sources, nod nod wink wink. We will see. Piggy is eager to help him, although I'm not sure if it's drinking that large cup of tea or the books he is interested in....Whatever the case may be I always enjoy seeing new friendships form and witnessing the comings and goings in The Dwelling. Cheers🥂
