And overdying ...Dee's additions are wonderful.<br /><br />And overdying ... I went to a talk about local dyes a couple of years ago and Deb McClintock introduced me to the idea of "festival" dyes. The idea was that much eco-dying is prone to fading over time and so cloth would be re-dyed to liven up the colors in time for festival celebrations.
