over the moon

Spring and flowers, oh what a delight!

here's Django pretending to always use the path, whereas he much prefers to wander through the flower bed, having long ago created a path ánd a spot to lie in the sun in the midst of said flower bed, whilst at the same time guarding the house as he can keep an eye on the gate

technology in the kitchen: a tap with running cold, hot and boiling water! installed ourselves last weekend; and as one does when moving stuff about I checked out the cacti in the windowsill and discovered these two tiny snails, aaahhhh

typical morning walk in typical Dutch landscape

fooling around with two sides for a small pillow, printed a small tree onto the blue silk, noticed a scrap of cotton with many moons and said to self 'what if I print the tree over the moon' and so it happened:

LOVE this! That moon with tree...so special Sasx :)
It reminded me of the children's book by Frank Asch, "Happy Birthday Moon"...which made me think, Mmmm...not a pillow, but a little book of pictures on cloth. Your work is filled with beauty and wonder. (((hugs)))
as always...Everything here fills my spirit...and oh...the
so so small snail beings...Love to them....
and as others comment, the moon trees......

i love Nancy's idea of a book of pictures....everyone could
find their own story in them...

i love the tree/moon combos, too! dare I add, that after the stitched boy with privates showing, I wanted the duck to have human, male genitalia? Our Finn sleeps even on the holly bushes - go figure!

thank you all dear ladies, I'm stitching away and turning the moon trees into small pillows, adding stars and creatures....

as to a book Nancy, I have in the past made fabric books for the two boys, i.e. one each; who knows I might one day find a reason to make more, ha (I'm thinking grandchildren perhaps.....)

aren't they incredible Grace

ah yes Dee, I had thought of adding them myself, but then decided not to; maybe because we have a daily cartoon in our daily with two birds showing their privates (Fokke & Sukke) and although I think they are very funny, I don't necessarily want to show 'all' plus the bird could be female, no?
