musings on art, walks with the dog, life as it happens, in the slow lane
Saskia, it is almost 7 AM here and I've raised my coffee cup in a toast to you and your kitchen. It rained last night and I've just come in from the garden where I picked a wet tomato that became part of my breakfast along with a provolone cheese sandwich; I like to eat varied things for breakfast. Good to see your kitchen and imagine myself having a cup of coffee with you.
that would be fun Marti, sharing a cup of coffee........varied breakfast indeed!I too wake up with coffee, but always have yoghurt with nuts, seeds, dried cranberries & honey, keeps me going for a couple of hours
look at those tiles!!!!
I am a few days late to coffee, but hello Saskia. Your surroundings - whether it be house, garden or studio - always look so comforting.
Julie: quite a few of those are Mexican originals, ay hombre! muchas gracias amiga, there endeth my SpanishSusan, thank you very much for your kind words, I was chatting with a friend the other day and we both had to admit to not being the kind of cosy mums their children enjoy coming home to for a cuppa plus conversation; they DO appreciate me making a pot of tea, they're just not into sharing at the kitchen table.....so I'm happy my surroundings LOOK comforting, perhaps they are for the boys as well!
thank you for the invitation...
oh Grace, how much fun would it be to have you all in for a cup?! or two.....
