another dye experiment with elderberries and tartaric acid, I'm hoping for shades of purple/pink; a second dye book, a present from my sister-in-law who bought this many years ago:
your elderberries look THE SAME as mine!!!! and once again, the actual berrys just make a grey green and if i really leave the cloth with them, a kind of muddied green that i don't love. NOTHING to do with their deep violet/purple but the leaves...a beautiful clear green. i'll try to post a pic.
